Bowen Park

Bowen Park is located at 81 Bowen Street, Radcliffe (access via Kearns Parade).   Facilities  include barbeque, shelter, children's playground, basketball hardcourt, and a flat area for horse riding or playing cricket.  Tree planting was carried out in 1985.

The hardcourt was constructed with the assitance of a NSW Sport and Recration Grant. Fencing for the
hardcourt was carried out in June 2004.

Carwoola Community Association

The Carwoola Community Association (CCA) aims to:

  • represent the common interests of the community
  • develop and maintain a community spirit amongst residents of the area.

CCA is a group of local residents who are keen to pursue these goals and to support the community in whatever way they can.

Community Facilities

Bowen Park is located in Bowen Street, Radcliffe (access via Kearns Parade). Facilities include barbeque, shelter, basketball hardcourt, and a flat area for horse riding or playing cricket.  Tree planting was carried out in 1985. Fencing for the hardcourt was carried out in June 2004.

The Community Block, at Gathering Place (off Douglas Close), Radcliffe, hosts the Carwoola Community Hall (opened on Australia Day 1993), the Carwoola Rural Fire Brigade Shed, a horse dressage arena and pre-school children’s play area.
