Bush Fire Danger Period

The statutory Bush Fire Danger Period runs from October 1 to March 31.  If you are planning to light a fire in the open during this time, you will need a permit.   Information on Fire Permits and Bush Fire Danger Period can be found on the NSW Rural Fire Service website

If you require a permit to burn please contact your local brigade to arrange an inspection but remember they are volunteers so they are giving up their personal time and it may take a while to organise.
